Not quite Narco, but perhaps just a hint of understanding

Hi, everyone, I have been having a week of extreme jet lag after returning from Germany. I don't seem to be sorting out my circadian rhythms very well. Drowsiness all day, short naps at odd times, wakefulness at night with just a few hours of sleep. Today, I was so sleep deprived and foggy that I nearly burned down my apartment after leaving toast in the toaster oven for too long. The toast caught on fire, and I had to open all the windows to get the smoke out of the apartment. It isn't narco, to be sure, but I wondered -- is this what it feels like for all of you, day after day? If so, I applaud you for your courage in meeting each new day...

I’ve only had jet lag once, but that frustration is IS hard to have every day. It’s not easy to be sleepy when you don’t want to be, and awake when everyone is sleeping.
